Well guys, i sold my Baby! The gentleman picked it up this past Thursday. It was a 05 EVO RS (duh) and it went to one of the guys on this forum, who is going to give it an perfect home. And from what hes been telling me, i believe he has fallen deeply in love. That is unless the cas has got him in jail by now.

Anyway i pick up my brandy new WW 06 EVO IX RS this afternoon, i cant wait.....im ordering the buschur Pure Power Pachage as well as some other goodies to go with it. Cosi cams, springs and retainers, O2 housing, and some other stuff. Looking for about 350whp before its even broken in, (jrod said it fine to do that, so.....)when i get all the parts on and the new wheels ill post some pics.

If you dont mind ... how much did you get for ur 05... I have an 05 GSR with about 9700 miles on it that I have been thinking about getting rid of to pick up a IX... thanks =D

Burshur should be up there imo. But who knows why people don't like burshur parts. I always thought they were quality. I except o2 housing. And people doing testings with cats.....and people...when you do an exhaust test. 3 inch's is 3 freaking inches. Whichever is more straight airflow will win. Get over it.

P.s burshur is good. And prices are good. They didn't get into 8's with ebay stuff

what's their pure power package? Is that different from the staged upgrades?

that pure power package seems to include hks cams so i assume its for an 8. Or do they include cosi cams in it for IXs?

I'm pretty sure they can include the Cosi's for the IX. If you call the shop and order they'll ask you what car is it for, and you just let them know it's for a IX. From there you can go ahead and get everything you need that route. That's what I did ;)

Yup, they do the cosi's for the IX's, it costs like $50 more but you really dont have an option in cams except for them, in that package.

Congrats. I couldn't sleep the night before going car shopping for me Evo either. It's the first new car I've ever bought.
