Many of your have been following the insane build up thread of Tommy's / Ferrarokid's 2003 AMS prepped Bonneville Salt flat EVO. Which can be found HERE
Well the motor is done and the power is almost dialed in. Its time to start thinking about how we are going to make this thing look.

As many of your know we love taking our shop and sponsored cars here and building a theme around them. The drag car looked like a top gun fighter. TA1 had a jolly roger fighter theme and even earlier then that a stealth bomber theme. We have the newly added AMS blues brothers mobile and I also don't think i needed to remind anyone about our A-team van tow vehicle...kinda speaks for itself.

Well Tommy has been so kind as to offer his car up for a theme as well. We have some ideas but Tommy and AMS wanted to put this in the hands of the members of EvolutionM.net. Tommy and AMS are also offering a $200 AMS gift certificate to the person that comes up with the Idea that both AMS and Tommy agree on. We LOVE creativity and we could not be happier to help bring this to you guys.

So lets here some idea's, we want images too. Don't just describe your idea...SHOW US! If your idea wins not only will you be $200 richer but you will have your mark on one of the Fastest EVO's ever built.

Just to keep the spirit going i want to show Tommy's car and some examples of our previous themed cars.

First is Tommy's car. It will have Bonneville wheels on it (solid Caps on the wheels) with skinny tires.The bumper pictured will be a stock bumper...possibly one piece front end. The body will remain just like an other EVO VIII....just fast with a big wing out the back :)

That should give you a good jump on the kind of themes we have done. We are not necessarily looking to stick with this theme, but we would not mind. We want to hear your ideas and see what you can come up with. So let us have it!!!

The Red Baron!!! (Assuming you want to keep a plane theme)

Red, White, and Black. The covered wheels will give it that old fighter bi-plane look.

The Red Baron theme is actually being used by our freinds at Predator performance.

I REALLY like that Flash theme though! thats the ticket...Creativity.

Damn! That would have looked really cool if you did it right. The whole skinny/covered wheels thing would have given it the right look, and you could keep a kill list/tally on the side. Like this...

aw a big heart with a skull on the side would look fantastic.


The flash idea is pretty cool.

A phoenix, with flame feathers etc.. would look sick on a red car and is appropriate for a top speed car I think. AMS logo on fire...

Lime Green color, it is HOOOT !!! I would paint mine like that . You can ,ake it better with some darker green or blue. The theme would be : COMET :)
