Do Evos come with a magnetic oil drain plug?
Its raining outside so i figured just easier to ask!!
Does an 04 Evo8 GSR come with a magnetic oil drain plug, or is that an atermarket item? Also, is there any problems with a cheap autozone oil filter, or do u go for a particular model? I was taught a long time ago to fill the oil filter with oil before putting it on to prevent a second of no oil. You guys believe that? |
Nope u need to go buy one...i need to do that now that u said somethin haha!
yeah dont buy any other oil filter then the stock Mitsubishi one. Dont ask questions just do it cuz i have read and read and read about it and i compared the other ones to the stock one and hands down the stock one is bigger. yes it dont hurt to put sum oil into the oil filter. |
I have been using the Mobil 1 oil filters from Autozone now since 04. I think it is the M108. I have had no problems at all with them.

i was always taught to put oil in the filter when putting in, and do it everytime.

aha. Im buying a mean neodymium magnet today and im just going to slap it on to the oil pan. So it just occured to me, if u have an aluminum block, there is no point to the magnet. Whats our blocks made of?
