Unhappy Very fast click click click sound after Boost Gauge Install

I installed my defi boost gauge today, followed the instructions posted by Iamhung on this forum. I tested the car and it runs normal, but when I turn it off there is a sound that goes click click click click, it goes pretty fast, almost the sound that The Predator makes on that movie. That sound is not there before, Can anyone tell me whats going on.

Your sure you have the wiring right?. I foolishly thought the orange was the dimmer, as it is on almost any stereo harness. I think it was clicking a little when it was like this. So i had the Orange and White reversed and the white was hooked up to the dimmer. This caused a blown fuse. I would just go ahead and hook the orange and white up of of the same line.

Only comes with two wires White and Black, Connected the white one on the Green/White stripe one on the dimmer harness. The black on the chassis. And the clicking sound is comming from the engine.

Good news... your boost controller is working! The clicking is what it is supposed to sound like.

IT is a soound that has always happened but you just didn't notice it before. It is most likely that. If you want just put your finger on the boost controller and you can feel it. If it matches to the clicks then that is what it is.

mine doenst click.. i have heard that the 4g63 clicks when it needs an oil change. Mine was a little bit, then i changed the oil out and its gone. I thought you were saying the gauge was clicking .. or something in electrical system. How did you make your T? I used the new tubing for the whole T. The stock housing was getting pinched and causeing the car to run like crap.

My car from day one 100% stock makes are real quick series of short clicks right after being shut off. Kind of sounds like when you are tightening your gas cap and after you get the first click you keep turning it. You get that cl-cl-click. I mostly notice it if I already have the door open and radio off when shutting the motor off. My vette would do the same thing and I was told it had something to do with the idle air contoller motor resetting. Hope that helps.
