Need help in one more thing... Is the install procedure same for the autometer super-lite shift light + RPM activated module? The pics are given. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you have to tap the same tach pulse signal. There are a couple other ways of getting engine RPM--OBDII, and the GTech modules can detect it through eddy currents or somesuch in the 12V power outlet, but all standalone shift lights I've looked at use the ignition pulse signal shown here.

tekniq doesnt sell the shift light anymore
