Lowering the Recaro seats in the Evo?

I've looked into threads from here about lowering the seat height of our cars. Some mentioned getting seat brackets from RMR.
Well, I went and picked one up from them and after 2 hours of trying to figure out how to take the rails off the seats, I found out the bolt holes are too narrow and won't fit the Recaros
I know they are fabricated for Sparco seat bottoms, but I thought some of the members on the forums successfully lowered their seats.

Help? Suggestions?

Thumbs up

this is what you will need to fit the recaros & it's made by HKS Kansai. you will need the "nabi" side (JDM passenger side)

Low position seat rail

Corresponding run sir evolution VII VIII

KIM001 (driver side)
Price XXYEN 20,790 (substance price XXYEN 19,800)

KIM002 (Nabi side)
Price XXYEN 20,790 (substance price XXYEN 19,800)

It is the low position seat rail which was developed in genuine レカロシート exclusive use.
As for this item, you think that there is no necessity "to the full bucket seat, but because seat position of the genuine seat is too high an insecurity, at the time of sport travelling there is. "" The foot hits to the steering wheel when getting on and off. "And so on it is the commodity which was developed because of the method which feels dissatisfaction.
It is the sufficient, genuine exchange where installation removes the genuine seat, exchanges the seat rail with this item.
The arrival sitting position position from the genuine products, becomes the down of approximately 30mm.

ランサーセディアワゴン (TA - CS5W)
As for the rally art specification car being genuine, レカロシート (エボ on 7 and isomorphism) has been attached.

The low position seat rail was installation possible even in the above-mentioned model.
(It became in the same way as エボ 7 down of 30 mm rank)

A guy named Gino used to do this custom - I think about $200. Send in your stock rails + $$$.

I had a set - they were perfect in appearence; however, I never installed them. Super nice guy - I kinda inadvertently shafted him in the transaction, but nevertheless, a very nice guy that looks to do quality work!

Good luck, Troy

Any pics? Is the factory seat angle retained? How strong are they? Thanks!
