Dealer ship sticker removal

how do i remove the dealership sticker from the back of my car without hurting my paint......?

if it's vinal you can just peel it off......if not and it's a emblem like the "lancer" and "Evolution" on the trunk....use dental floss to get it off.......

If you peel it off by force there is a chance you can hurt the paint. The best method is to use a hot hair dryer or similar unit to heat the glue and make it come off easier. I did it in 10 minutes with not much force at all. And it came out perfect.

right i did use a hot air dryer and now theres a kind of glue left behind that i need to get rid of

Simply heat it again and rub.. it might take a while but it will work..The more you heat it the easier it will get off.

Now use something like goo-be-gone or other automotive adhesive remover which is paint and clearcoat safe. Then some rubbing compound, wax and viola.

3M has a great adhesive remover. Just don't leave it on for too long. It also works great for soot around the exhaust.
