Question Pro-1 Hks RS replica

Has anyone gotten this kit form Evo8.com? I got it but it didn't bring screws for the MAF to connect to the intake and I was hoping someone on here would know the length and thickness of the nuts to get. Does anyone also know where the hell those 2 brackets go. I wanna install it but I can't get a hold of anyone at Evo8. I'm not flaming them but I need to know these thing. Thanks in advance for any answers anyone might have

I used the bolts that held the maf to the stock airbox. Be careful when you loosen those nuts, b/c i broke the plastic surrounding the bolts on the inside of the airbox. I also had to trim the hose connecting the intake pipe to the turbo because it's a very tight fit and needed the extra room for the maf and intake to fit. In addition, I bent the stock airbox bracket down to make more room for the mushroom filter.

Hope this helps

Thanks. I'm assuming you didn't use the brackets that came with the kit?

the stock clamps i reused were the one that holds the hose to the turbo and between the maf and the hose to the intake pipe. These are the clamps that have the 2 rings instead of a metal strip. I don't know if that was clear enough but i don't know the names of those clamps. I did use some of the provided clamps from the kit.

The brackets that came with the kit don't seem to fit anywhere for me either. I tried many ways to get it on but nothing seemed to work. It's working fine without it right now. The screws from the stock airbox didn't work for me. Right now I have zip ties keeping the maf connected to the intake. Once I get to Home Depot (hopefully soon) I will let you know the bolt sizes...(we are talking about the 4 bolts right?)

I think we are talking about the same bolts... The goldish looking ones that have the almost rectangular head that's rounded out on two sides... They worked from me. Wonder why they don't work for you.... I don't know if zip ties are that safe... make sure it's secure.... you don't want to suck up any particles or rocks
