need help installing greddy rs on my MR

need help installing greddy rs on my MR

can anyone send me a pic on how to install a greddy rs (recir) properly because I installed one on mines and i really dont know if its corrected because its not loud or anything. Maybe its because i still have a factory intake..anyways i don't hear that woosh sound or piiissssss sound at all...need help...

it dosent sound like a type-s if that's what you were expecting... theres a clip on here somewhere of it going off

www.blowoffvalves.com - there is a clip of one hooked up to an Evo.

But you are recir (which is the correct set up for our cars). With the stock intake box you will not be able to hear the valve. You will have to go to an aftermarket filter or cone filter if you want to hear it.

thanks....what type of aftermarket should i get.....i was reading injen intake and its comes with all these pipings and it looks like a good deal with a good setup..

No prb. I would not change the piping after the filter it affects the air flow after the MAF and causes ECU problems. If you are getting a flash then that would be ok - since you can tune for it. But if you are not planning on that then I would only do the box delete. I have the RMR intake, it comes with the bracket for the MAF and K&N cone filter, it takes out the intake box, but keeps the piping. May not be the prettiest but it functions quite well.
