mbc install question
mbc install question
Hello
Couldn't you just install a mbc using the factory hoses that run to the solenoid? ie just swap the solenoid for the mbc? I was planning on splicing in new hoses to extend the lines that run to the boost control solenoid and hook them up to the mbc. I am assuming that the lines to the solenoid run directly from the wastegate and the turbo nipple pipe?
Thanks

no using the stock line..... isnt a very good idea... one side goes to the pressure nipple and t's off into the wastegate actuator. the other line goes into your intake. basically u need to run new lines all together...

doesnt work that way.... they are T'd directly in the factory setup... you are going to have to disconnect them and cap the stock selenoid. then either use the waste gate to turbo nipples or use the line coming out of your bov.
Got it all hooked up. Thanks again for the input. It's kind of a pain in the butt getting to the wastegate nipple. Heres some pics:
