Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced sun damage on the center section on the cf wing and what they may have done to fix the issue. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I was planning on taking the wing off and sanding the mid-section down until i reach cf then clearcoat and buff out the problem. Appreciate your help.

Per other postings, it looks like the stock wing has a crappy clear coat that is easily damaged. It can be replaced under warranty - just make sure that you don't get an Evo 9 wing instead. Some people are successfully sanding, clear coating, and buffing on their own. Do a search.

 

had the same problem. if you plan on sanding it urself be very carful not to hit the carbon fiber. if you do it will cost you a lot more money to fix. i sanded the whole top part of the wing and but 3 layers of clear on. looks better then new. its better then spenden 1200 on a new wing
