Question on installing aftermarket tail lights....
Best thing to do? Stick with original Mitsu parts. I haven't seen very good results with aftermarket light assemblies.
If you absolutely insist on getting aftermarket lights, you remove the rear bumper, take off some trim in the trunk to get to the various bolts that hold the assembly in. Once you've taken it off, reinstall all the bulbs into the aftermarket assembly and bolt everything back up.

Not bad...
I actually played around with it this weekend and got them in, it was pretty easy, and didnt need to remove the rear bumper at all. All you need to do is unscrew it from the back (right by the lights), pull them out, plug in the new ones, and then pulled them in from the trunk and re-mount them. I was suprised with how easy it was. They dont fit 100% snug as the stock, but pretty damn close! Thanks anyway though!
