am i just plain missing it, or do you really have to pull/unbolt the wiring track off of the firewall?

i figured that there would be a main connector somewhere that would allow most of the wiring to free up and be removed, but the way it looks is that the plugs are to be removed from the ecu, fed through, and the track unbolted from the firewall and damn near all the wiring in the engine bay pulled at once.

??? i figured it would be easier to pull the harness with the engine, but figured i got to be missing something.
