Will cold air induction kit improve the bogging?

I was wondering, if I changed the factory airbox to cold air induction kit, will that improve the bogging after i install the after market BOV?

there is no bogging with the bov, and cold air is a bad idea because since all the air goes thru the intercooler anyways, there is no point in that little bit of temperature difference considering the possibility that water or road debris might get into the engine/intercooler/turbo

Let me just warn you, Gannerboy, you're opening up a very large (and old) can of worms with that statement . Just wanted to let you know before you have people beating down your doorstep. There have been so many arguments over that recently.

Either way, the bogging associated with VTA BOV's are caused by the MAF having already messured air that is then being vented through the BOV which enrichens the AF mixture and has absolutely nothing to do with the type of intake used.

I agree with you, i take back any statements i may have made that may be wrong. but i heard somewhere saying CAI is not good because it can possibly suck in stuff you do not want going into your turbo/engine. nothing to do with the BOV, just talking purely about the intake.
