Question how to check if crankshaft sensor is bad?

my car keeps dying when im on the road and when i go into neutral for a stop. i dont know why and sometimes it does it for my civic 99 hatch. can anyone help me for this situation????

What car is this? Evo, Toyota, Honda?

If Evo - do you have a VTA BOV?

If not, take your car to a shop, they can use a volt meter, see if there is signal.
