Installing Chassis/Suspension Braces

I recently purchased a number of suspension/chassis bracing components which I am planning to install in the next few weeks; I recall (a while back) that someone had mentioned something in reference to the tension or stiffness released when removing existing components.

For example, if the strut bar was to be removed, as soon as the bolts were loose, then the chassis would release it's tension and when the new strut bar was installed, the chassis would not be able to come back to that state.

I KNOW this sounds weird but think about it. Would it be better to install those components while the car is on jacks, thus releasing the "pressure" and tension of the chassis & suspension?

I think I am the only one asking weird questions like this...everyone else only cares about making more horsepower, lol
