These instructions are a guideline and used at the risk of the reader. Disconnect the battery and let the system discharge for awhile (30min to an hour), then disconnect the airbag and horn (there should be a little plastic cover on the bottom right side on the steering wheel). On the EVO there is on (I think 10mm allen key) hex bolt on the left side of the steering wheel. This bolt is really difficult to loosen. Loosen the bolt all of the way and slide the wheel off. Be real careful and make sure that you discharge yourself to the chassis ground before you disconnect the airbag. If it goes off it could do some damage. On a side note if you install a wheel without an airbag your insurance will most likely hold you liable for your injuries if you get in a accident. Good luck an be careful.

the wire for airbag and the horn should be in the right side under the steering wheel? are there two different wires that I need to disconnect?

the 10mm hex bolt is the only thing that I have to loosen to get the steering wheel off, which is on the left side of the steering wheel?

Do I need to take the horn button? Is there like a big nut that lock the steering wheel?

thanks!
