oil/ air fuel install pics

I finally got around to taking some pics so here you go.

I used autometer gauges and gauges cups and mounted them on a RMR carbon gauge pod that holds my boost gauge. The install is pretty simple and should only take you a couple hours.

Oil Pressure:
My guage came with a new oil sending unit that needed to be installed. there is a plug right by the oil filter, but there isnt much room there so I had to use a 90 degree elbow to get it to fit.

Once you have the sending unit installed its a breeze.
If you look at the back of the guague there should be three screws in a trianglular pattern. Those are your connection points. The center or top one goes to ground, the Left one goes to the screw on the oil sender(shown in pic), and the Right one goes to anything that has constant power when the car is on. there are also a white and a black wire that are for illumination. Black goes to ground and I put the white one into the fuse for the OEM gauges under the dash.

Air Fuel:
This is a lot easier than the oil filter, only three wires.
Black goes to ground, Red goes to anything with constant power when the car is on, and the purple wire(Black wire in pic b/c the purple wasnt long enough to reach) goes to the white wire on the front oxygen sensor. The white wire is located under the plug cover of the engine. connecting to the white wire for the oxygen sensor make sure that you splice into the wire on the ECU side of the harness as shown in picture.

Here is a pic of how I routed my wiers into the car. I drilled a hole by the throttle cable. be carefull when drilling, but there is a lot of room to play with there.

Thats pretty much it, here are two pics of my complete install.

EVO|Mike, is there enough space to still use the stock oil sender along with the one for the new oil pressure gauge? Looks a little tight in there. BTW, thanks a lot for reposting your pics!!!!

the stock oil sender is located at the rear of the block and there isnt enough room there to put the new one thats why I put the new oil sender by the oil filter in a blank plug thats down there. You have to use a 90 degree elbow to make it fit.

By putting the new sender there, it allows you to use both the stock one and the one for your gauge......i assume you have had no problems with either since you have installed them
