check for a how to about head gasket install.

or get a service manual.

you could also use the correct head stud install method ( where you remove the head to install a new gasket)



cliff notes:

zip tie cam gears to timing belt
remove gears
pull studs out
seperate head.....

Make a guillotine and pull the string yourself...



In all seriousness, should just be a matter of unbolting that pita bracket on the back of the block that bolts to the intake manifold and un-doing the head studs...

I hate that damn bracket, ive prolly pulled like 20 heads and its still the biggest PITA lol

i totally agree with dan that bracket was pita. wonder if it really is needed. i'm thinking leaving it on the intake manifold but not bolting it to the block.
