I'M NEW TO THE EVO SEEN SO I'LL BE ASKING MANY QUESTIONS .......on the factory boost gauge from mitsubishi i've noticed that my car wont go past the third bar after 0.5 any know why?I got the car used from a auction and the car is from philly the only thing i can guess is that the car is tuned for that psi only cause it never spikes.

 

So your spiking to 0.8 bars which is only 11.6 psi (1 bar = 14.5 psi). You must have a pretty big boost leak.

Do a search a learn how to make a boost leak tester.

I just got my evo also and I'm only spiking to 1.1 bars.

 

is there a boost controller on the vehicle?

 

Double check for a boost controller and make sure your intake inlet is properly secured down haha I had that problem before
