need help on how to get taillights to go back to clear look

hey people...i painted an extra set of taillights that i had to look like evo 7 style but without the lined on the signals...

i used the candy apple red paint from testors and a clear coat from krylon...

i wetsanded them and sprayed clear coat on them...all i get now is a foggy red and white look...how can i make them clear again? thanks!

by buying a new set.... lol. I don't think you can take the paint off again without having them foggy looking. Good luck. Hopefully a pro can chime in.

ya i dono i would prob just buy new ones. maybe paint thiner if your feeling lucky. i know that works on foggy headlights but i dono about color

k ill take some pics tomorrow and post them as soon as i can...

i forgot to mention...when i spray clear coat on them it looks clear but when it dries it get cloudy...so when its wet its clear when its dry its cloudy...

this is old have you fixed them?

id try some very high grit sanding and just try to work it out. maybe some kind of buffing compound for plastic or glass.
