trouble installing dc sport front strut bar

I cannot figure out how to tighten the nuts on the strut in the dc sport bar. The gap is too small, best luck was a box end wrench, but still not enough space, any suggestions? Thanks.

Do you have the car jacked up? You might have to push down on the strut bar to start the threads, otherwise post up a pic. It's really not that hard to put on a strut bar unless the DC is really thick.

thanks, no the problem is a manufacturing defect in the dc sports bar, not enough space to get a wrench on the bolt, I will try to post a pic later

I snapped some pics for ya dude (on my crappy blackberry) because I know what your talking about having installed it myself. You just have to be careful and work with the tip of the wrench. Get the smallest 14mm you can find and good luck! Torque is 33ft/lbs so set the others to that and then guestimate the difficult nut based on the # of threads showing. Don't use the box end, use the open end.
