Instrument Cluster Needles

G'day Guys,
I have a 98 Lancer GLX, and I am wanting to change out the instrument cluster dials to ones that I have designed. The only problem that I am having is that for the life of me, cannot get the bloody needles away from the speedo, tacho ect...
Any help here would be more than greatly appreciated!!

Cheers and Heaps of Beers
Eddie

Eddie, they don't just pop right out? Have you tried gently using a pair of needlenose plyers?

Try using a diner fork behind them, they should pull off.

I used a 8 gauge ground spade terminal plug. Using the plug gently pry up on them from uderneath the needle. The first time is hard but once you do it a few time it is easy. Kinda like SEX Just don't pry on them to much you could mess up the electronics under them or put a hole in the gage face.
