Awesome video. Unfortunately my clips on the roof on both sides decided to be stuborn little b@st@ards and finally broke on me. Anyone know the part number for these since o reiley and advance don't seem to think there's a difference in any of the clips on the drip molding? Pm me if u know I would greatly appreciate it since its not stickied in the part # sticky.

Any parts guy at your local Mitsubishi dealership should be able to look that up for you easily. I order all my OEM clips from the dealer as I know they will fit and the price isn't much different than places like nappa and o reiley.

Thanks. I ordered the clips yesterday. Unfortunately we do not have a "local" dealer. Closest one is an hour away. And yeah they pretty cheap. I think 3 and half dollars each. They got me with no. Lube on shipping tho. It was 15 bucks to ship em to my house.

Again great video and to others take your time, learn from me. Do not break those clips lol.

the most important part is before putting on the vortex generator is to clean the roof and the VG very very good before applying tape.

I installed the VG on my wife's Evo BEFORE I joined Evo-M... lets just say that I did it the hard way and it looks 99% perfect... after watching this video, I know that I will be MORE confident to accomplish this same task on my Evo easier than the first time and with 100% accuracy!!!

Yeah, I usually order a bunch of OEM parts in one batch to save on gas and time at the dealership. If you are super nice to your parts manager, they will deliver the parts right to your door if you pay over the phone. They don't care it's their company car and they usually do part deliveries throughout the day to shops around the city.

Well after watching this, it makes me feel silly for the hour or so that I tried to physically figure out how I could get it under one side of the weather stripping and then the other.

I have to say, I much prefer your way.

yea it was a good video but lucky for u ur molding looks good so my clips came off easy to where you went in the video, then i busted all 16 white clips poppin it off, and 2 yellow front ones by the windshield when come to find out later didnt even need to come off at all. smh...hahaha you should prolly do a tutorial too when the time comes on how to install the roof moulding, i searched and searched couldnt find anything on the install other then dealer instructions. You seem like a patient person not to bust the clips, me not so much hahha
