if they told you 3 hours they are full of ****. No way is that time possible on the floor. I can do that time with my lift and airtools, and a tranny jack, not to mention I've done this job quite a few times already.

it took us about 5 hours total that is with breaks

it wasnt that difficult at all we also put in the stainless steel clutch line that was kind of pain to get to because of the tight area we had to work with up there

it wasnt quite that long we used air tools we have did it before on another evo as well

so did you need the slide hammer? any other special tools required or tricky areas you encountered.

What did you have to remove? Besides the left wheel and brakes

What's a slide hammer?

How heavy is the tranny?

Is it possible to get at the front diff during the install so you have the option of putting in the helical front diff.
