OEM Front Bumper lip

I am trying to replace the current OEM lip. It has broken clips on the lip as well as the bumper. Do aftermarket lips require these tabs to be in tact to install? I am trying to avoid having to buy another bumper.

THANKS

If you have broken clips on the bumper then you won't have anything to attach a new lip to. So , yes you will need to have those lips on the bumper as well.

Gotcha, I was hoping that the aftermarket lips attached in another location.

You could always plastic weld or epoxy those tabs on the bumper.

I had some retarded person stand on my lip at the shootout, and it pulled out the lip and ruined half of the tabs on the bumper. I cleaned up the plastic and used some two part poly epoxy to fix all of the broken tabs. It just went through a michigan winter with no issues, so it should do just fine. Kind of sucks having to fix it, but if its your last resort, its much cheaper than buying a new bumper. Good luck

Thanks a lot for the ideas, I think I'll go the epoxy route first and see how it goes.
