help w/ installing boost gauge
help w/ installing boost gauge
i have a problem with my prosport boost controller i just installed it this weekend and the dial on it stays at 30 psi. i tried switching around the vacuum line from the input on my HBC to the output and vice versa and still nothing. any suggestions? also my prosport boost gauge does not have the inline filter on it, could this b a problem? from what it looked like the previous owner had gauges set up in the car
I was lookin on the website and on the instructions an inline filter was showing. it goes from negative psi to 30 psi but that's it. it doesn't stop in between the bottom psi n top psi. once I start the car or put it in ACC mode it stays at 30 psi (top of gauge)
oh i see it now, the inline filter is to just keep the moisture from actually altering the readings. it wont cause the boost gauge to stick to 30psi. unless the sender is that sensitive.
fyi- its not negative psi, its vacuum.
if i remember right i believe its a wiring problem. check the boost sender, and then check your grounds. some people had the same problem and had to replace the boost sender.

i personally dont run prosport because it seems like it craps out a lot. imo
