Esy mode, get the manual from Evoscan.com it has all the info youll need. Id go ahead and do as much as you can since your going to have it out and opened up.
There are some tricks here and there to get it to hold up better, but thats up to you.

but at what cost? my gears are crunching if i try to push it in, i have to let it pull itself in pretty much, but they dont crunch at above 3500 rpms usually, its a shep built trans, but its just super crunchalicious, so idk if its a bad clutch or just bad synchros and what not, what does the forum recommend, im probably going to do a full trans rebuild plus exedy clutch, get away from this act high rpm lockout as well

If you get the evoscan fsm just be careful on the torque specs. I almost ruined my cams cuz the trigger wheel bolt torque spec said 98 ft lbs which is a lot more than the recommended 16ft lbs but the newton meters was 22nm which does equate out to 16 ft lbs so just make sure to double check the specs line up with each other.
