I´ve a 04 GSR EVO VIII

My evo came with the "ugly" MOMO steering wheel.






I bought at Ebay a JDM Version, about the EVO 7/8/9 CT9A.



The "original" MOMO of this evo generation 7/8/9/.

Unfortunately the "groove bar / steering column" of my car do not fit with the JDM Steering wheel....

Cant fit in my car =[[[[[

Some one can help me?


Ive have to make HUGE ADAPTATIONS/SWAP in my steering system?

My 04 EVO 8 with the UGLY steering wheel have this initial VIN NUMBER:
JMYSNCT9AA4U000xxx

A friend of mine with a 06 EVO 9 MR with the THE CORRECT MOMO steering wheel have this VIN NUMBER:
JMYSNCT9A6U000xxx

I am almost sure that your evo 4 wheel attaches the same as a dsm wheel. The rear of your wheel looks almost the same as the dsm 1g wheel. I don't have a evo 4 wheel to look at though. With that said I have converted both 2g and 1g dsm wheels over to an evo 8 wheel. If your wheel attaches the same as a dsm then it should be no problem.
