i just installed a VIS carbon fiber trunk and there is a big gap all the way around my trunk. i can push the trunk down and it fits perfect, but the rubber seal around the trunk is pushing it back up. has anyone had this same problem and how did you fix it.

 

Mna that sucks do u get water in the trunk? I want to order too. Is this trunk key less?

 

no water but the gap looks like crap. yes it is keyhole less

what did you do to get the gap fixed?

 

you have to put shims or washers under the hook at the bottom. also you have to flip the hook around. now it looks like factory again

yes i just got my vis trunk and it looks like the weather stripping is hitting too wich is pushing the trunk up and the bottome part is hitting the bumper could you please explain what you did with the hook to make it fit so good
