Gearbox Change

Hey guys hope you can help.

Has anyone got any tips or hints about the best and easiest way to remove a gearbox from a Evo 1 ? We managed to lose 1st and 2nd gear while rallying on the weekend.

Wouldn't a EVO1 be similar to a 1G DSM or a Galant VR4?

I would think they'd be very similar to the GVR4. Gotta love Tom and his VFAQ site:

speak to the guys on MLR (web site www.lancerregister.com ). there loads of guys on here with EVO 1-3 so they should be able to help!

hope you get it fixed soon so you can start enjoying yourself again. LOL
