Autometer ultralite boost guage?

I just got an Autometer boost gauge and im not sure how to install it..im going to place it in the center console right below the air conditioning controls in the empty cubby...they have instructions that came with the product and what i need to install it but im not sure if i need more to install this and if i need more information installing it..this is my first time installing a guage so SPEAK ENGLISH..

The only part I had problems with is the gauge comes with a 1/8" what appears to be nylon line, and you need to mate that up with vacuum hose. I went to a hardware store and got a compression fitting for the nylon line and hooked that up with an adaptor that i could then put a hose-barb on to plug into vacuum line.

Then you can take that vacuum line and run it into a tee that you can get at an auto parts store.
