aem wideband HELP!!!

where do u hook the white and blue wire, the white says to a 0-5 volt. can u hook the blue up to the serialport under the dash?so it will work with evoscan.

you hook it up to your laptop, through an adapter, not the serial port

The white is 0-5 volt for external EMS support. The blue wire is for RS232 serial port, but you need to purchase a serial port connector (9 pin), where the blue wire connects to pin 2, and you have to hook up a ground to pin 5. The 9 pin RS232 connector's pin arrangement is as follows:

top = 1,2,3,4,5
btm = 6,7,8,9

You can pick up on from radio shack for $17

Cut one end off, and test continuity for pin 2 and pin 5 to get the right wires, connect the blue AEM wire to pin 2, and ground pin 5. Connect to laptop's serial port and log with hyperterminal.
