I have installed everything so far except for the ground cable. Its the black cable with a gold end. In the intructions it says "connect the black ground wire to a good chassis ground. To ensure a good ground make sure there is no paint below the mounting surface." What does this mean? Anywhere that is metal or is there a certain place?

 

Ok i got everything connected but two problems

1. When i go to lock the car by the key lock it wont work

2. The timer starts as soon as i pull the ebrake but as soon as i turn off the engine the TT turns off
