Me and a friend were installing a new manifold. I left to go get some more tools and came back and he had snapped 2 of the studs. The 2 studs were the ones that are closest to the radiator. Dont know what to do. The only thing that i could think of was to buy a new hotside. Can anyone help me. Anyone have any advice or ideas. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 

Bring it to a machine shop and see if they can get 'em out... otherwise, buying a new hotside would be the fastest..

 

ok thanx alot man. Now i just found out another problem. I left it at the house i was working on. Told my stupid friend now to touch it and he went ahead and tryed drillijng them out. now its even worse. The whole doubled in sized. Im guessin at this point i defintaly got to buy a new hotside

 

That sums it up then.. time for a new hotside.. you have to have a steady hand if you want to try to drill it out.

 

At least now you can get a new hotside, and then get it coated.
