Need help with replacing rear stop light

I'm pretty slow with it comes to these things so here goes. My rear stop lights are out. I bought the bulbs I needed however after unscrewing two screws that attached the tail light to the car, the tail light still wouldn't easily come out. I'm afraid I might brake some thing if I pry the tail light out. Anyone who has replaced their tail light bulbs have any suggestions on how I can correctly pull them out? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

PULL HARD! they are held in by the 2 scres you took out and 4 Barbs that go into plastic holds, You have to pretty much force the barbs to come out! I was scared at first to, then found out thats what was holding them in!

Are you sure the bulbs are bad. If neither of them work I would check the fuse then the brake light switch under your break peddle.
