AMS UICP install with AEM Intake?

I searched around and could not find the specifics I was looking for on installing an AMS UICP with an AEM Intake on an EVO VIII. I purchased the UICP used so I didnt recieve any instructions with it. I went to install today and cant see how the piping will work when I put the intake back on? Is anyone else running this setup? Also, it looks like I will have to purchase a new hose to run from my IX BOV to the UICP, can anyone confirm this? Thanks for the help.

Alright, I talked to AMS this morning and I think everything will fit now that I have everything in the right order. The only thing I could still use help with is where exactly the 2nd pipe bolts up to the vehicleas it is different than the stock locations? If anyone else is running this same setup and could provide a picture that would be great. Thanks.

I'll try to get some pictures up today. I still wasnt able to figure out how the pipe in the middle bolts up to the vehicle but the pipes aren't moving around without it.

Still need to get the pictures up but there are a couple of things you will need to pick up before the install. I have a JDM MR BOV installed which was mounted on top of the AEM intake with a hose running to the stock the UICP. After installing the AMS UICP the stock hose running from the BOV to the UICP was too short. I had to purchase a radiator hose repair kit and an additional hose to make the hose long enough to reach the AMS UICP. I think the hose size was 1 1/4inches. I was able to pick that stuff up at Advanced Auto Parts for under $15.00. Everything else was pretty straight forward.

cool! thanks. I'll be running a Tial BOV so I think I'll have to plug off the hole at the intake. Were you able to install the pipes without removing your bumper or no?

For that Rec. hose from the stock DV, to the UICP, ETS makes a hard pipe to replace the factory rubber hose. It might be the same length you need, instead of using Radiator hose. Take a look at there site or call Tom and see if this might work.
