I hit a road cone at 90mph on the freeway and am now in need of a new bumper on my evo VIII. I was wondering if anyone knows if a IX bumper would fit onto my VIII without mods, or if there is an adapter kit to make it work?

Also, I don't have enough posts to post anything in the for sale/wanted section, but if anyone has a VIII or IX (assuming it fits on a VIII) please let me know...whit is preferable. Thank you

 

seriously, that is like the #1 exterior mod people do to VIII's because it is so simple and looks good

They said $1150 not including shipping...I found a carbon fiber front bumper for 1000 and a local dealership with a stock 9 bumper for 850. Can somebody explain this to me? lol

 

unless your willing to fork over some big bucks from the stealership, or pay some crazy price from a vendor. i would suggest WAIT IT OUT! it took me a damn long time til i found someone in florida selling a mint condition EB 9 front bumper with all grills and what not. only thing was missing was the front diamond badge and i got it for 400 bucks that was a bumper that was used for only 500 miles. so keep searching on the for sale forums and your regional for sale your bound to find one sooner or later.
