How to remove stock 02 sensor
How to remove stock 02 sensor
I have an Evo IX MR and my secondary 02 sensor on the cat has a damaged wire and needs to be replaced. Can anyone give me a step by step process on how to remove the stock secondary 02 sensor? Any help would be great!
FYI,
Many O2 sensors use stainless wire up to the first connector.
It can not be soldered, have to use crimp on connectors.
Also many pull O2 reference air through the wire in the tiny gaps.
So leave the O2 where it is, cut damaged wire, slip on heat shrink tube, crimp wire back together and heat shrink to shield the wire.
