WOW what a pita.

im trying to remove the dash from the car. i got everything from the clove box out to the radio and heater controls, all the trim and blots. the dash is ''seems'' like it wants to fall out. but it is hung up on the passenger air bag. how do i get this thing off of here. any help would be great. i can explain in more detail if need be. i cant find anything on the forums in regards to this.

 

Really I had mine out in 15 min, You are prolly hung up on the plug for the air bag or there is a 10 or 12 mm bolt that is holding the air bag to the frame still.

Look there for that I would be willing to bet that is what is holding you up.

 

so your saying there is a bolt holding the air bag to the car. the dash moves but the air bag does not. so im guessing your right.

when it is out the air bag stays with the dash when i pull it out???? hum can u guide me where this bolt is cause my blind *** cant seem to locate it. HAHA

 

I can't picture it right now but I think you get to it in the glove box area from underneeth.

The airbag stays with the dash when you pull it this way but I only remember 1 bolt hanging me up as well.

It has been a while since I have done this but I am sure this is what is causing your problem.

Cool, I am glad you got it!! 2 bolts, that sounds about right.

Next time you do it it will be a breeze, The 1st time it took me over an hour now I can do it in my sleep.
