Removing drivers side 3 point belt receiver

I need to figure out how to get the driver’s side factory belt receiving end off the OEM Recaro. The passenger side is easy, but the driver’s side has a (seat belt) wire that runs down through and under the seat and ends with a white plastic clip (too big to pull through). I still haven't figured out how to get this wire to stay with the receiving end without just cutting it. If anyone knows how to do this, let me know? Thanks.

I just cut mine out, but you can try getting a screw driver between the mount and the cushion (I know its tight so you may need 2) and attempt to open a gap up to pull it out.
Or
Open the seat belt clip and remove the wire.

Alright. Someone who knows what I'm talking about! Thanks. I was thinking about trying to pop the receiver open and see if the wires can be removed (unsoldered) from the assembly. Figured this way the wire assembly could be left on the stock seat in case I need to reuse it someday. I could cut it, but I figured this would be a last resort. Plus the race seats certainly don't need a seat belt warning light. Strange thing is after I undid the clip, I figured I'd trip a code. Never did!

Tried and not possible. I also tried removing the plastic side panel piece (seemed somewhat loose), thinking it might allow enough room to squeeze the wire through, but it didn't. I started by removing (destroying) a little plastic screw that appears to secure it. Don't bother with this.
I did get it done and done very cleanly. The trick is to pop the plastic receiver body open and remove the little circuit board inside. Then unsolder the two wires. Once this is done the entire wire assembly can be pulled through the side of the seat. Then it's a simple matter of resoldering the wires and clipping the plastic body back together. I'm likely to be the only person with the factory 3 point belts still installed (and useable) with racing seats. I even reconnected the white clip under the seat so my seat belt light on the dash works (not like it needs to). Pics included.
