Avid Billet Motor Mount Installation
Yes, this also was a big pain in the ***..
Expect this to take 2-3 hours, not 30 mins. for a full install lol
What i did was thread in the crossmember then try and get the bolt in the mount. after you do you can tighten the rest.

I haven't been able to get the front mount on, well, i did but the cross-member bolts don't line up. The crossmember sits about 1/4" too far forward when the front mount is installed. I'm going to use a come-a-long to pull the engine backward and line up the cross-member bolts. today hopefully.
Cool thanks I'm going to try that right now.
resolved. remove any body stress before attempting to install the mount. it finally worked after i lowered and leveled the car. i put the mount bolt through and was able to get the cross member bolts to thread in. i didn't use the bushing i made (the one that avid never sent me). thanks again for the help evom guys.
The stock front mount steel bushing has a hole that is not a tight slip fit with the bolt - it is way big, a very loose fit, it looks like the diameter of the avid hole. The Mitsubishi engineers must have had a good reason - if that is what they designed, personally I'd stay with it, the clearance might be necessary under some operating conditions.
I am having issues with stock front bolts for front mount they are not long enough to go along with the trans mount is it the same bolt size just going to get at home depot allen key type for a flush look like the torque solution which so far I like better
