I am making a v- band connection between my v2 titek housing and megan down pipe. As you all know 02 housings are not a true 3" outlet so you have to cut the 2.5" stub that comes off the housing. Then port that sucka out with a carbide bit. Be patient it takes a long time, stainless steel is strong and on the titec its thick. ( not sure about other housings but im sure pretty close)
Almost fofgot first buy 2 v bands with clamp. Found some on ebay for $18.00 and change.

Next, cut the flang off on the downpipe but before you do that put the o2 housing w/ donut gasket on downpipe and measure where you need to cut the flange off. I measured the distance between my v bands first and figured were to cut the flange off.

Now you have to weld the v bands on and your done. I know how to mig weld, stick weld but i'm goin to let my buddy tig weld it. I never tig welded before so i'll leave it up to him, or you can take them to a welding shop and i'm sure they'll do it pretty inexpensively.
