i did the 1x1 and have no problems. over 105k miles now. No leakes or anything.

Drop Down pipe,
drain and remove radiator
remove exhaust manifold with turbo attached
Put engine to TDC
Unbolt Valve cover. 10mm Bolts
Losen Cam Gear nuts. 17mm (Remember position of cams)
Losen Timing belt, Ziptie cams to timing belt
Remove Head Studs. 13mm 12points
Lift off head.

took me 10hr using manual tools to remove and install headgasket. And i was taking my sweet old time.

Yea, it would be nice for people to just help out instead of being A-0
LMAO
I have done a few searches and didn't find what I was looking for, asked a few people and they helped out.
That's what were all supposed to do, Help each other instead of being Dicks!

It's really a pretty simple job if you have around 8-12 hours, depends on how fast you are...lol. PM me for a detailed breakdown.

yeah a manual is help full... (not being a A-0) i used this to help me out

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...lt.install.png

and this:

http://www.lilevo.com/mirage/EVO%208..._starthere.pdf

the best advice though is to take ur time doing it. im 18 years old and the evo was the first car i've worked on and used forums and the link i sent you. the key though is patience and taking ur time. i also managed to break a screw so make sure you got a buddys number that knows how to easy-out a screw...(if you don't) also make sure you have a variety of tools just in case. (never know what might happen) oh and let the car cool off for a while...i let it chill about an hour before i started working on it....the cooler the engine the better it is. the most important though is being comfortable with what your doing. if your ask for help or take it to a shop. i hope that helps

parts off and back on in under 4 hours. had to wait around for thread locker to dry on bolts longer than the job itself took. all hand tools too.
