Buschur intake question...please help

Ok well i just installed a buschar racing intake in my evo 8 and i was not sure of what to do with the small hose that was connected to the stock intake. Not the one that is clamp on but the smaller one that you can just pull out, whcih looks like it is connected to a sensor. Please can someone help me out with this.

When i started the car it threw a code and when i was driving the car it litterally sounds like i have a hks ssq bov when i let go of the throttle so im kinda concerned. It also is stalling out but i guess that might be because it is not tuned. If anyone has any ideas why it sounds like this lemme know your ideas.

its the little hose that goes to the boost control solenoid....it should have a spot to go into the new intake...if not try putting a nipple on the solenoid it might work...the sound may be from your intake there should be a hole for that hose to plug into double check the pipe real good for a little hole just like on the stock setup

Well i new that would happen but the intake is the only performance part i have on the car. The bov that is on there is the stock evo 8 bov so im a little bit concerned because it sounds like an hks ssq.
And the other little hose that was from the stock intake that i stated before goes to the boost solonied. Should i just cap it off?

as stated earlier if there is no hole for the tube then capping it off should work fine, and the bov sound is normal it makes it dramatically louder! I love it!

As everyone else said putting on a cone filter will make your DV much louder. As far as the little vacuum hose, cap it off at the solenoid. Also make sure to run a breather filter or catch can on the valve cover. I also have the Buschur Racing intake and I like how there is no nipple as it helps to keep oil from getting into your intercooler thus keeping its efficiency.
