I installed a prosport oil pressure gauge today and I accidentally broke one of the wire connection pieces on the sender unit. I soldered the wire onto what was left on it but it still didn't work. I don't know if thats the problem or if I'm wiring it wrong. The directions aren't too clear. I connected the "wk" to ground and the "g" to the green wire on the gauge. Any help would be great guys. I took the sender off the car. I was thinking maybe I didn't solder it on good enough. I'm going to try to put it back on tomorrow. Hopefully it works. Any help would be great. Thanks

 

All I can assume is you damaged it inside and it might not be any good. I know that the AEM is much better and 100x more simple to install.

 

I'm sure they're much better... except for the price.

 

how much did you get for a quote ? i might have a new one around...

 

I got mine for 195 overnight shipped iirc.

no i just ordered a new sender. It works now
