How to: evo 9 turbo install - video

I know I skipped one step.

Don't forget to bolt your downpipe back on. Guess I didn't film that for some reason so I forgot to mention it in the video.

Great video! I just tackled an install on my 8. The only thing id suggest for newbie people (like me) is i'd remove the radiator for more room and so you don't damage it. some of those bolts are a PITA and pb plast + heat will work wonders!

Do you have to remove the exhaust mani? I wasn't planning on it. Also, if the turbo going in has been sitting awhile, should I blow it out with compressed air and drop some oil in the oil inlet area?

its better to remove the manifold because the turbo is easier to remove from the top then from the bottom.

Thanks! I see what you're talking about. I still may do it from the bottom or the top because I'll be taking out my radiator.

Spray some liquid wrench or wd40 on the nut (not the actual sensor or it'll **** it up). Let it sit as you go to autozone to borrow an o2 sensor socket or wrench. Which ever you prefer. GL.
