im about to swap my steering wheel and air bag and wanted some input...no i assume its pretty simple, just unhook the battery and take it apart, swap airbags, reassemble and im done.

I want to make sure that the airbag wont deploy and that i dont need any special tools

i should note that im just swapping from an evo 8 wheel to a 9 wheel and swapping the airbag

I will be doing this as soon as I receive the Evo 9 wheel I just bought to replace my Evo 8 wheel.

Can you update this thread if you've already done the swap, was there any issues?

 

Search for 1 minute and you will find a how-to. Ill eventually do this just too many other things on the list first.
