I need a How to for a tranny rebuild.
i highly dont recommend doing your own rebuild or opening your bell housing unless you have previous experience. im mechanicly inclined but have never done a rebuild on a trans before. at one point one of my pins came loose on my 1st and 2nd shift rail. and i could tell that was the problem from the beginning. so i looked at all the diagrams and determined removing the bell housing and replacing one pin sounded easy enough. so i pulled my trans, had the manual and all the specs and followed them to a T. but after the re installing, everything slowly went to hell internally. long story short i now have two trans.. i would just call shep..
Does anyone have pictures of themselves doing this? I have a cracked transmission case and I need to transplant all of my internals into a new case. I have no problem following a manual but pictures make things so much easier.
