Prosport Oil Pressure Gauge

Can the prosport oil sensor be bolted on the oil housing, where that hex bolt is? Or do i need a sandwich adapter?

Im confused, are u running mechanical gauge pr the electrical one. I am trying to run an electrical one, and put the sensor at the oil housing using one of the hex bolt holes. I currently have a mechanical autometer, which i am removing it for the prosport electrical, and the autometer one is getting fed from the oil housing.

I plumbed both my oil pressure and temp sensors into the hex bolts in the filter housing with no problems at all.

Just put plenty of PTFE on the ensure they sensors dont leak.

The biggest problem i found was that the oil pressure sensor was quite bulky and wouldnt clear the chassis (evo5 by the way) so i had to mount it onto the hex bolt that faces into the wheel arch area......doing this there was only 5mm clearance between the sensro housing and driveshaft but it could never hit it.

I have the sensor mounted onto the fire wall, with a steel braided line running to it. From what i've read here on this site, i've heard alot of bad things from mounting it directly onto the oil filter housing. Since it's pretty bulky and made of brass, it can break off pretty easily.
